Four players win playoffs to make U.S. Open field

Joey Lamielle had to go 45 holes to earn a trip to the U.S. Open, outlasting Julian Suri in a nine-hole playoff to capture the final spot in a sectional qualifier. Three other players also advanced through playoffs in other qualifiers.
